Al-Nisā, Arabic for "The Women," reflects our focus on the female experience and empowerment. Combined with 'Alliance', it signifies the bond and connection between individuals coming together to further their common interests and aspirations.
Our Inspiration
Al-Nisā means "The Women" in Arabic and represents an Alliance or bond between individuals or groups with common interests. This name is a tribute to my Egyptian maternal grandmother, Anam, who was known as Naímah to those who knew her. She was the matriarch of our family, a strong and entrepreneurial woman who believed in giving back and empowering other women. She taught me the importance of community and the power of collective action. Al-Nisā is a way to honor the women who have led us on our journey and to recognize those who will continue to inspire and uplift us.
